30,000 – 45,000 rubles: Warsaw
The capital of Poland in early May usually greets tourists with warmth and sun: during the day the air warms up to 20 degrees. This is a great time for walks around the city, the picturesque Vistula embankments and the huge Lazienki Park.
The main attraction of the city is the Royal Palace on Castle Square. Take a photo with the background and go inside to see how the Polish nobility lived. And then you can take a walk around the city, starting with the most beautiful district of Stare Miasto – you can get around it in a couple of hours. This area was completely destroyed during the Second World War, but it has been amazingly accurately and skillfully recreated. The area is even included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as an example of reliable restoration of destroyed heritage.
Take a separate day to walk around Lazienki, Warsaw’s famous park complex. Walk along the alleys, admire the fresh greenery, and then go check out the collection of paintings at the Palace on the Water. 40,000 – 50,000 rubles: Helsinki
At the beginning of May, it is still cool in the capital of Finland; during the day the temperature does not rise above 10 °C, so dress warmly. Four days of holidays will be enough to get acquainted with the main attractions of the city, and for walks along the bay and along the central streets.
The city is calm and leisurely. There are many museums, churches and parks here – it’s easy to breathe and it’s a pleasure to walk. Start your tour of the city from the central square of Senaatintori, admire the harmony of the Senate and University buildings, and then climb the stairs to the snow-white Tuomiokirkko Cathedral. Don’t forget to stop halfway and take a photo of the beautiful view of the harbor.
Helsinki is famous for several unusual churches. Be sure to stop by the Church in the Rock (Tempelinaukio), a unique temple carved into a flat rock overlooked by a glass and copper dome. The acoustics here are amazing; if you go to an organ music concert, make sure of this. Another unique church, or rather chapel, is the Kamppi Chapel of Silence, which has an amazing design. Come here in the middle of the day to take a break and meditate.

40,000 – 60,000 rubles: Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv is an excellent choice for a May holiday. It’s worth bringing swimsuits here: the beach season is open, people are swimming and sunbathing with all their might. And of course, in Tel Aviv there is where to walk and what to see. Four days may not be enough for everything!
For a weekend of sea and sun, choose from one of the city’s 12 excellent sandy beaches, or explore them all. Families with children will love Jerusalem, the largest Blue Flag beach, or Gordon, which has a seawater pool and children’s slides.
There are few historical attractions in Tel Aviv – it is too young for them. But the city has plenty of museums: check out the Museum of Fine Arts, learn about history at the Eretz Israel Museum (which also has a planetarium), and check out the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora.
For history, go to Jaffa, one of the oldest cities in the world, which is considered practically part of Tel Aviv. According to legend, it was here that Noah built his ark, Perseus freed Andromeda, and a vision was shown to the Apostle Peter. Today Jaffa is a large tourist and artistic center, with many galleries, workshops, flea markets and museums. Walking here is a pleasure.
