The world map is large, the May holidays are not enough for it. But a dacha is not an option, so let’s choose.
It’s still cool in many seaside resorts, but in some places you can already organize a May Day swimsuit show:
UAE: the Persian Gulf has a pleasant summer, but without the heat that will be at its peak.
Israel and Jordan: “across the street” from each other, with historical heritage, Red Sea diving and no visas.
Thailand and Vietnam: relaxation in a hammock among tropical trees, exotic fruits, azure sea.
Morocco: beautiful ancient cities, desert, mountains. You can sunbathe, but the Atlantic Ocean allows only the most seasoned.
Bahrain: Tourism is just beginning here, unlike other countries in the Middle East. But the beaches, attractions, hotels and restaurants are not inferior to famous resorts. Hurry up to visit the country before it becomes mainstream.
For lovers of urban recreation, a selection of places with good weather and interesting events:
Paris (France): exhibitions, exhibitions and more exhibitions. The treasures of Tutankhamun in the Grand Halle in La Villette Park, paintings by Picasso in the Army Museum, everything about the Moon from the fantasies of Galileo to the journey of Apollo 11 in the Grand Palais and many others.
Japan: take a walk among the cherry blossoms and flying carp – hanging fish figures will float everywhere in honor of the Children’s Day (May 5th).

Scotland: May is whiskey month. The main attractions will be tastings, excursions to distilleries and themed parties.
