April is the ideal time to travel to Dubai. The air temperature is very comfortable: during the day the heat can reach +32 °C, but by night the heat recedes and it becomes almost cool, about +20 °C. Humidity is relatively low, so high temperatures do not feel like summer, when most tourists prefer not to go outside at all.
At the same time, the water in the bay is very warm, about +27 °C – you can go ashore for hours (most importantly, do not forget about sun protection). Local beaches are perfect for family holidays: fine white sand and smooth entry into the water make them comfortable even for kids. It’s also clean and there are no annoying traders. Most beaches are private, but there are also free city beaches. For example, the popular Jumeirah Open Beach (located next to a small bay), Jumeirah Beach Residents (they swim here not only tourists, but also local residents) and La Mer (with excellent infrastructure and walking area).
In addition, April is a great month for excursions and walks in the fresh air. Explore Zabeel Park and the ancient Al Fahidi Fort, take a photo with the Jumeirah Mosque in the background, and then head to one of the many malls and water parks.

Egypt
Another great destination for an April beach holiday: very soon it will become too hot here, but for now the temperature remains at a comfortable +27 °C. The water in the Red Sea is heated to +23–25 °C. In April, rain and sandstorms are still possible, but by May nature calms down, so the last spring month is considered the most favorable for travel.
Tourists usually choose from two resorts – Hurghada or Sharm el-Sheikh. They are located in different regions of Egypt: the first is located on the western coast of the Red Sea, the second is on the very edge of the Sinai Peninsula. Hurghada is usually chosen by families with children, as it has comfortable sandy beaches with a smooth entry into the water. Each hotel is an almost autonomous mini-town with entertainment and animation, but outside the hotels there are either boring streets or desert.
People go to Sharm el-Sheikh to see the beauty of the Red Sea: there are many reefs with colorful fish, but this makes the entry into the water more rocky, and without special slippers it will be uncomfortable. The resort has many opportunities for active recreation and nightlife: clubs, bars, restaurants, noisy discos. If you want more peace, go to Dahab, located 100 km from Sharm el-Sheikh – this is a very small resort town. There are no large hotels here, but there is a lot of natural beauty and a unique opportunity for Egypt to relax almost like a savage.
And April and early May are the last chance in the next six months to look at the famous pyramids in Giza without getting sunburned. The air temperature, of course, is already above +30 °C, but visiting the sights in the early morning will be quite comfortable. Or, on the contrary, come in the evening, when the light and sound show starts at 20:30. And if you find yourself in Cairo, check out the famous Egyptian Museum, where you can easily spend the whole day in its halls.

Sri Lanka
April is the last month before the start of the monsoon season with strong winds and thunderstorms, so you still have time to swim in the ocean and sunbathe. Moreover, the air is heated to +34 °C, and the water is slightly cooler, about +30 °C.
In early April it will be comfortable in the southern resorts of Sri Lanka, for example, in Unawatuna and Mirissa. Quiet, small Unawatuna boasts a developed infrastructure – there are many hotels, cafes and restaurants, there are options for various sea sports and nightclubs. Local beaches are suitable for families with children: there are no strong waves or currents near the shore, and the entrance to the water is gentle. Mirissa is a tiny village where tourists are always welcome. There are many affordable housing options, a supermarket, cafes, souvenir shops and an excellent clean beach. True, the sea off the coast is often rough, but a little to the left of the main part you can find several lagoons with calm water.
At the end of the month, it is better to choose resorts in the north and east of the island, for example, Trincomalee. This is a calm town with a picturesque bay and very beautiful beaches. There are also hot springs nearby.

Maldives
April on the islands is considered a velvet season: there are already fewer tourists than in winter, and the weather remains comfortable for a beach holiday. Remember that the sun in the Maldives is very treacherous, so be sure to use a cream with a high SPF.
In addition, in April the daylight hours are already quite long, about ten hours, and the water is calm and clear. The conditions are ideal for diving and snorkeling – almost all hotels provide their guests with equipment and offer the services of instructors. Large resorts also have their own coral reefs, where you can see colorful fish, stingrays and even small sharks. And in the evenings, they often organize feeding of marine life from the piers or directly from the shore.
Tourists usually stay on small islands, where there is nothing except the hotel itself and its infrastructure. But if you wish, you can stay in Male: there are hotels and an excursion program. Budget islands are considered to be Northern Ari (the city of Rasdhoo is popular here) or Alif Alif (the city of Ukulas). We recommend renting a room in a small hotel or guest house, having lunch in local cafes, and choosing public beaches for relaxation. There are also plenty of spots for diving and snorkeling here.

April in Thailand is one of the hottest months, when the air temperature in the central regions of the country reaches +40 °C, and there is almost no rain. Koh Samui is one of the most beautiful Thai islands. There are many snow-white beaches, just like in commercials, and also stunning nature with forests and waterfalls. There are also attractions – the Red Buddhist Temple and the Snake Stone Pagoda. And on the highest mountain of the island is the Magic Garden of Buddha, which attracts travelers from all over the world.
And in April, the Thai New Year takes place – the Songkran holiday. Local residents celebrate it by pouring water on everyone they meet. In fact, this must be done carefully so that water does not get on your head and ears, but in resort towns this rule is neglected, and real water fights take place on the streets. Participating in them is not only fun, but also pleasant: given the air temperature, no one refuses to cool off with water from a hose or water pistol.
