Suzdal Kremlin
According to chronicles, it has existed since the 11th century. After construction, the Kremlin acquired fortifications, a ring rampart, log walls and towers. Today all this can be seen freely, as the place has become a museum. Its main parts, in addition to the Kremlin walls, are the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, the Bishop’s Chambers and the wooden St. Nicholas Church.
Museum of Wooden Architecture
In winter, to get here after visiting the Kremlin, you need to cross the Kamenka River on ice. You will find yourself in a village – this is the museum. Among the exhibits are unique wooden churches, windmills, real peasant houses with a “double” Russian stove and other interesting buildings.
Ticket price – 400 rubles*.
