New York has been ranked first in the ranking of the most Instagrammable cities for several years now. Its skyscrapers and parks are deservedly popular among both tourists and local residents. Particularly popular among users is Manhattan and its tourist spots – Times Square and Central Park (which, by the way, the social network included in the top ten most popular places in the world). Often the Brooklyn Bridge pops up in the Instagram feed, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the New York Museum of Modern Art.

Istanbul is one of the oldest cities in the world with diverse architecture, so there is also plenty of room for creativity here. The city has Christian churches, Muslim mosques, palaces and museums – all of which often appear in photographs from the Turkish capital. Despite the fact that last year was quite difficult for Barcelona, it retained its attractiveness for tourists and was included in the list of the most popular cities on Instagram. In first place among the most photographed attractions is the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Instagram users are not embarrassed by the construction cranes and scaffolding that surround the towers of the temple – it has been built since 1882. In addition, the photographs often include the stadium of the Barcelona football club Camp Nou, the streets of the Barceloneta quarter, Park Güell and Mount Montjuic.
