Montenegro is a paradise for beach lovers. On the shores of the Adriatic Sea there are pretty towns that attract tourists who want to stay on the coast among picturesque mountains and pine groves. A huge plus was the local residents, who speak good Russian.
How to get to Montenegro
The cost of an air ticket from Moscow to Tivat is from 25,000 rubles* round-trip per person. A PCR test is not needed to enter the country, nor is a visa.

Budva
This place is called the “Montenegrin Riviera” because of the large number of different beaches: wild or crowded, sandy or pebble… There are about 20 of them in total.
Yaz– one of the most beautiful beaches in Budva. Picturesquely surrounded by mountains, it is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay: changing rooms, showers, paid and free areas. In addition, there is a large number of water activities to choose from: skis, scooters and catamarans. You won’t go hungry either: there are several cafes on the territory.
Sand and pebble beach with turquoise water Mogren, which has earned the Blue Flag for its high standards, is located in the middle of forest and rocks, and is easily accessible from Budva. Infrastructure, water activities, free zones – everything is included. Excellent for families with children due to its smooth entry into the sea.
Na pebble beach Plochewith inserts of stone terraces and a convenient descent into the sea, it is worth a visit for fun lovers. There are four pools with sea water, one has bar tables and a DJ plays during the day. And the children will be delighted with the inflatable slides.
A small peninsula with a resort and a well-preserved fortress Sveti Stefan became the calling card of the city. It is connected to the shore by a golden beach, perfect for a comfortable holiday with a beautiful view.
Another beach with the Blue Flag and clear sea — Becici— stretches with coarse but soft sand for 2 km. Tourists with children love it; it’s a real paradise for them: attractions, playgrounds, water activities.
What else to do in Budva
Look into the citadel of the Old Town, explore the churches, learn about the history and culture of the region at the City Museum, take a boat excursion to the island of St. Nicholas.
Ulcinj
This is a resort for fans of a relaxing beach holiday. Without discos and festivities, but with a coastline of 18 km. The sand of the local beaches is famous for its healing properties – it has a beneficial effect on joints. So lying on it is not only pleasant, but also useful.
Urban Small Beach is located in a small bay with a beautiful view of the city, The approach is smooth and shallow, there are waves you can jump on. There is a paid and free zone, as well as places for lunch.
Grandiose Velika Plaza stretches for 12 km. Films and music videos were often filmed here. Dozens of beach bars, discos, yoga, water activities, including kite surfing – everyone will find something to their liking. And the wooden buildings and the most delicate sand will make you feel like you are on an exotic island.
Hidden in a bay surrounded by pine forest is pebble Women’s beach. It is also popular among women who do not want to burden themselves with wearing swimsuits. Healing sulfur springs flow into the water here: they treat infertility and prevent rheumatism and skin diseases. For three euros* you will also be covered in healing mud.
What else to do in Ulcinj
Explore the Old Town, find the statue of Miguel de Cervantes, listen to the call to prayer near the Sailors’ Mosque. See the flamingos that have settled in the reserve near the old factory, and stroll through the Olive Grove to the quiet Valdanos beach.
Herceg Novi
For those who love quiet cities, surrounded by greenery and fruit trees.
To the clean and beautiful beach Zanica, where the President of Yugoslavia loved to relax, you need to get there by boat, the cost is about five euros* (both ways). Pebble shore with bright umbrellas, convenient entry into the water and all the necessary infrastructure. You can also watch the life of sea creatures – the water is very clear.
Meljine Beach, located in a small bay, is suitable for families with children: small pebbles, sandy sunset and perfectly heated water. There is everything you need for a sea holiday, as well as a playground.
What else to do in Herceg Novi
Climb the Clock Tower in the Old Town, go for a tasting at Savina Winery, explore the grounds of the Savina Monastery, or take a tour to the Blue Lagoon.
Petrovac
A small town with charming stone buildings, where the promenade along the sea among pine trees and palm trees is in no way inferior to the French Riviera. This place is suitable for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world with unbridled night fun, as well as for families with children.
City beach stretches for 2 km, there are sun loungers for rent, changing rooms, a lot of water activities, and you can have a snack on the terrace of one of the cafes on the embankment . We recommend renting a kayak or catamaran (from 10 euros*) and exploring the area from the water. The entrance to the sea is smooth and shallow.
Small Perazicha Up to – this sand and pebble beach with crystal clear water is ideal for a relaxing holiday. However, the path to it extends through lush vegetation and along steep stairs.
In a cozy bay there is a small sandy and pebble beach Lucice. Be careful when entering the water: there may be stones. There are cafes and tents hidden in the shade of pine trees, and there is a water slide. Here you can jump from the cape, swim among picturesque grottoes, enjoying the warm, clear water. For little travelers there is a children’s playground.
What else to do in Petrovac
Explore the city’s Roman mosaics and ancient churches, walk to Castio Castle, enjoy the views from the Health Path on the way to the Rezevici Monastery.
