HR Giger Bar, Switzerland
HR Giger Bar in Switzerland is named after its owner – artist Hans Rudolf Giger, who became famous as the creator of the image of the Alien from Ridley Scott’s films. Visitors are surrounded by skeletal structures, as if they were inside the belly of one of Giger’s surreal monsters. Arches of giant spines, creepy embossed wallpaper and chairs that look like torture devices create a dark, yet sophisticated and intimate atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else.
