Despite the word “pop” in the name, this is the oldest rock festival, and this year it will be held for the fiftieth time. The organizers did their best for the anniversary: they promise 60 groups, and what a number! Come listen to live performances by Slash, The Kooks, The Cure, Jamiroquai, Armin Van Buuren, Bring Me The Horizon, Die Antwoord… Just look at the website with a list of performers, and there will be no doubt: you have to go.

Not the most obvious Spanish festival, but this year you simply cannot miss it: Liam Gallagher and Thom Yorke will perform on the same stage. And also Hot Chip, Vince Staples, The Strokes and many other artists. Well, let’s be honest, when you just come to Bilbao? And here is such a reason to get to know this city!

This festival brought together an incredible line-up: The Smashing Pumpkins, Bon Iver, The Chemical Brothers, Iggy Pop, The Cure… In general, just the list of headliners and performers is already a song.
By the way, from Madrid to Bilbao it’s 3 hours by plane, and the dates of the festivals coincide. So you can combine business with pleasure and capture two cool events in one trip.

One of the most famous festivals – every music lover knows this name – in the Parisian version takes place at the hippodrome. This year, The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, Migos, Martin Garrix and a dozen more bands are expected here.
By the way, the festival is well equipped for children: there is a large play area, and the cost of a child (under 11 years old) ticket for two days is only 10 euros.

A huge festival with music for every taste. If you want to know what the power of a crowd is, come to Budapest in August. Sziget attracts half a million people and takes place on a separate island. Naturally, for such a scale, the names of the musicians are appropriate: Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine, Post Malone, Macklemore, Twenty One Pilots and 60 more groups and performers.
