Adventures of a Kudablin participant in Tel Aviv

In the project “Cudablin” we We send completely different people on trips at our expense! Yulia Lobasheva visited Tel Aviv: she told us about the most interesting places in the city, discovered that Tel Aviv is a city of graffiti, and recommended the most delicious dishes of national cuisine. More details in her report!

I dreamed of going to Israel for a very long time. I always knew that I will go there, and when my subscribers voted for Tel Aviv, I was incredibly happy. Finally I was able to go where I had been for so long wanted!

Tel Aviv met windy weather, at first I was even upset. But a day later the wind died down, and in the sun it was possible wear a T-shirt. What could it be better than going to the sea in February?

On a trip be sure to take warm clothes. The sun is warm, but when it goes away, winter begins. Kite surfers, seagulls, waves, sunsets, people playing with dogs – I spent half a day at sea, and it wasn’t enough for me.

Some tips if you are traveling to Tel Aviv:

  1. Be sure to go or walk to the Old City and Jaffa Port – this is the part of the city I liked the most.
  2. Visit the markets. There are a lot of them here.
  3. Drink some freshly squeezed juice.
  4. Try the falafel prepared at the kiosk.
  5. Buy hummus at the store.
  6. Get to the rescue tower with the graffiti. It was converted into a hotel for several months. It is located on Frishman beach.

In general, I advise you to just take a walk around the city. We were walking like this and accidentally discovered beautiful graffiti, there is a huge amount of it. Another nice thing for Russian speakers – 1/8 The population speaks Russian, so people here will easily understand you. People are very opening and kind, a lot of tourists, absolutely safe.

If you’re traveling to Israel, you can’t miss Jerusalem. This place is from the point of view of history and my perception is unique. This is the center of all religions, where you can meet people from all over the world. From Tel Aviv you can get there by bus, which runs from the main station in just 40 minutes. You can also go to the Dead Sea. I didn’t get to it, so I know I’ll be back again.

I didn’t want to go back, here’s another piece of advice, come to Ben Gurion airport 3 hours before departure, security is well monitored there, very strict control, if you arrive later, you may not catch the plane.

And, in conclusion, Israel, thank you for the rest and peace of mind! If you want to go somewhere, then the Universe will definitely hear you and you will go there exactly at the moment when you need it most!
