Hello! My name is Yana (@yana_sevastopol) a week ago I went on a trip to Moscow with the Kudablin project.
I love this city very much, and it always leaves behind a lot of positive emotions. My trip lasted three days, so before the trip I made a plan of where to go and what to see. Moscow is huge and before visiting it it is better to make a list of what you want to see first.
The main attraction of Moscow is Red Square. It is located between the Moscow Kremlin and GUM. A majestic and beautiful place, amazing with its scale and beauty around. St. Basil’s Cathedral, which beckons you, the Kremlin towers with their red stars. Here you can make a wish by throwing a coin at the zero kilometer mark. And, of course, you should definitely visit the GUM shopping center. The building was built in 1893 and is a federal architectural monument. You can take a walk around the shopping center – it is extremely beautiful at any time of the year, and you should also try the delicious ice cream of their own production.
On the second day I visited the Izmailovo Kremlin. This is a cultural and entertainment center with its own twist. It combines many features of ancient Russian Kremlins from different times. A very beautiful place and suitable for both adults and children. Fairs, festivals are held there, there are many interesting museums and even a wedding palace. You can simply walk among the beautiful buildings, eat street food and drink the delicious “Fire Dragon” drink. The atmosphere is unusual and very cool.
I couldn’t miss VDNKh either – it’s beautiful and holds a special place in my heart. Big, beautiful, you can walk in it for hours. This time I went there to go ice skating and see the New Year’s beauty. The skating rink made a great impression on me. Magical atmosphere, New Year’s decorations, music playing, people riding and having fun. And if you are tired, you can stop along the way to have a snack and drink delicious mulled wine or warm tea. Everywhere you look, everything around is lit up, and the New Year’s mood immediately appears.
During my journey, I had to complete a task that was chosen by my subscribers, and it was not an easy one for me: to sing with a musician on Arbat, an iconic and one of the oldest pedestrian streets in the center of Moscow. Just walking along Arbat is a great pleasure. There is a special atmosphere here in the evening, and how beautiful it is when the snow falls in flakes. I found my musician and performed a song with him. Indescribable emotions were seething inside me. It was very cool.
In December, Moscow is especially beautiful. On the eve of the New Year, the city simply shines. There are a lot of decorations everywhere, New Year’s fairs, skating rinks, like in movies, Christmas trees are decorated, and each one is better than the other. The holiday atmosphere is knocking on your heart. A city where movement does not stop, it always strives only forward. But as soon as you turn around, you see children playing in the snow, couples taking pictures near New Year’s locations, and at fairs, townspeople drink delicious mulled wine and ride on carousels. Moscow is already preparing for the New Year in full swing, delighting its residents and guests with a magical atmosphere, and it’s definitely worth coming here to enjoy the approaching holiday!
