While Russia’s borders remain closed to international air traffic, and summer is approaching, we’ll tell you how the regions are preparing for the start of the tourist season.
On June 1, the tourist season starts in Russia. For now, only sanatoriums with a medical license can accept guests at resorts. Regions are gradually easing restrictive measures.
In the material we will collect and update information for you about regions that, to one degree or another, are easing restrictive measures against tourists: canceling mandatory quarantine, allowing accommodation in hotels and sanatoriums, opening museums and parks, etc. d.
We have prepared a color map of Russian regions for you. Regions marked in green have the least restrictions. Regions highlighted in yellow are not yet ready to receive tourists (hotels only accommodate business travelers and/or there is a mandatory quarantine requirement for travelers from other regions).
