If you want to enjoy a little more warmth, but don’t have time to obtain visas and other documents, pay attention to the countries where Russian travelers can enter without much difficulty. We chose ten destinations and told how to get there and what to do in early autumn.
Montenegro
In September, the beaches of Montenegro are still sunny, but not so hot. The tourist season in the country officially lasts until the end of the first month of autumn. Afterwards the rains will begin, and the sea will get colder – but for now the temperature during the day reaches +26 °C, and the water warms up to +25 °C and in the evening it even seems warmer than the air. However, it is worth checking the weather forecast before the trip – in Montenegro in the fall it is quite changeable, so you may have to put an umbrella in your suitcase: in September there are sometimes showers, which, however, quickly end.
The most comfortable places to relax in September are Podgorica, Budva and Tivat. If you stay in Budva until October, be sure to attend Shiruna Day, a festival dedicated to mackerel, which is caught in the Adriatic Sea. This event, which closes the tourist season, is a great opportunity to try fresh local dishes, and at the same time fill up on fruits and vegetables.

South Korea
If you want to visit this vibrant and multifaceted country, then September is a great time to do so. At the very beginning, the weather is not too different from summer: during the day it is still hot, about +28 °C, and the water is warmed up to +24 °C. Yes, there are several beaches near the capital of South Korea, so an excursion holiday with a visit to numerous palaces and traditional villages can be combined with a trip to the sea.
But keep in mind that until mid-September, the region often experiences monsoon rains, due to which the air humidity is very high. Therefore, it is better to plan a trip for the second half of the month, or even the beginning of October, when it is still comfortable to swim and nothing interferes with walking around the city and sightseeing. In addition to Seoul, you can visit Busan, the second largest city in the country, which is considered a mecca for beach holidays.

Russians do not need a visa to South Korea, but they are required to obtain an electronic permit to stay in the country K-ETA (at least 72 hours before arrival). You can stay with him in the country for up to 90 days within six months, but no more than 60 days in a row.

Malaysia
Summer in Malaysia is in no hurry to end: at the beginning of September the thermometer still shows +33 °C, and the coastal waters warm up to +30 °C. In general, good conditions for a beach holiday, the main thing is not to forget about sun protection.
The country’s most popular destinations include the capital, Kuala Lumpur, as well as the island of Borneo, famous for its fauna and national parks, and Langakwi with its white beaches. Almost all tourist sites in the country are distinguished by excellent service, and here you can also find luxury hotels, delicious cuisine and a huge number of attractions. True, in September we do not recommend focusing on excursion holidays; it is better to go swimming and sunbathing.

The local climate does not look at the calendar: summer in Turkey lasts until the end of September, and in Mediterranean resorts, for example, in Antalya and Belek, it is comfortable to swim until mid-October. If you don’t like heat and stuffiness, plan your trip at the end of the first autumn month, when the thermometer shows less than +30 °C.
The highest daytime temperatures are in Antalya and Alanya, cooler in Kemer. You can also explore the Black Sea resorts, which are not yet so popular among Russians, for example, Trabzon or Rize. The advantage is their proximity to Istanbul, but there are also disadvantages: there are almost no all-inclusive hotels with animators and a lot of entertainment here. Although some also consider this a plus.

Georgia
September is considered by many travelers to be the best month to visit the country. Judge for yourself: the summer heat and stuffiness are leaving, and the weather is pleasant – during the day it reaches +25 °C by the sea, and in Tbilisi from the middle of the month it is about +23 °C – it’s time to explore the city. And the flow of tourists is also significantly reduced, and with it summer housing prices.
If you are attracted to a beach holiday, welcome to Batumi on the Black Sea. There is a real velvet season here with a gentle sun and a sea that is as warm as the air. Please note that there are fewer beach activities in the second half of September, but you can safely replace them with excursions: take a walk through the Botanical Garden, which is more like a tropical forest, go to Mtirala National Park and explore the Gonio Fortress.

Israel
In the fall, the classic velvet season begins in Israel: the unbearable summer heat gives way to +30 °C, and the evenings begin to bring coolness. Moreover, the water temperature in the Mediterranean Sea is sometimes even higher than that of the air. The Dead Sea is warmer by an average of 3 degrees, and the Red Sea has hotter days and colder nights due to the proximity of the desert, but the water is also very pleasant for swimming. But there is almost no rain, so it’s comfortable to relax in the country for the whole month.
By the end of September, the popularity of excursions is noticeably growing: it was too hot to visit the sights all summer, but now you can walk around Jerusalem and visit the main shrines. At the beginning of autumn, the country celebrates the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah, which this year falls on September 15–17.

If you are not afraid of periodic rains, you can have a great rest on the islands, swim and at the same time go on excursions. Diving is also available at this time of year, although you need to check the weather – sometimes the sea is too choppy. At this time, you can get on the board: surfing is quite popular in the Seychelles (look for the best spots on Mahe and Silhouette).

September is the ideal time for excursions. Take a stroll around Belgrade, starting at the Kalemegdan Fortress and exploring the main pedestrian area, Knja Mihajlova Street, before stopping by the Nikola Tesla Museum. You can also go on a cruise along the Danube or take a walk in the Tara National Park.

Uzbekistan
Autumn is a great time to visit Uzbekistan. The weather is finally returning to normal after the summer heat, and during the day in September the thermometer shows an average of +25 °C, although sometimes it reaches +30 °C. There is very little rain, which means you can go on excursions and sightseeing.
And in Uzbekistan there is a lot to see: there are many ancient cities with caravanserais and mosques, for example, beautiful Khiva and amazing Samarkand, where you can finally walk without melting from the heat. People also come to the country to try real pilaf and stroll through the colorful oriental bazaars. In September you can also catch the beach season – and, for example, swim in the Charvak reservoir.

Russians can stay in Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 60 days; they will need a foreign passport to enter. UAE
In the first month of autumn, the Emirates is still hot: during the day, thermometers show about +39 °C, and the water is heated to +33 °C. It will become a little cooler by the end of the month, but the temperature will not drop below thirty. But the number of tourists begins to increase, which means prices are also rising. Therefore, September is a good opportunity to have a relatively inexpensive holiday in the UAE.
If you are choosing the best place to go, keep in mind that the hottest state is Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah is considered the coolest state – on the shores of the Gulf of Oman it is “only” about +36 °C. We recommend staying in Dubai with its abundance of entertainment under the roof in air-conditioned rooms. Walk around the malls, look at the world’s largest aquarium, and if you wish, you can even go skiing: the Mall of Emirates has an indoor resort called Ski Dubai. But we don’t recommend a beach holiday, because the chances of quickly burning in the sun are very high.
