Chek Lap Kok Airport

People come here on the Ngong Ping 360 funicular, where in glass-bottomed cabins you can admire the blue water and sea of greenery under your feet for 25 minutes. They return with new emotions, pleasant feelings and full shopping bags.
Disneyland
You shouldn’t leave Lantau without visiting Disneyland, located on the island. The amusement park opened 11 years ago and became the second Disneyland in Asia. The traditional cartoon atmosphere is presented from an Asian perspective and some attractions can only be found here, but there are others, such as the Buzz Lightyear shoot-em-up or the Space Mountain roller coaster, that are completely copycats of the original.
In the evening, when it gets dark, a light show begins at Disneyland and the sky lights up with a sea of colored lights. By the way, you can stay overnight in the park – there are several hotels here.
Ocean Park
Hong Kong Ocean Park opened in 1977 and since then has welcomed up to 5 million visitors from around the world every year. Tourists can not only admire the flora and fauna (there are even pandas here),
have fun on the rides – there are more than 40 of them, but also learn a lot of new things from the life of the inhabitants of the seas and oceans – educational educational programs are held in the park.
Ocean Park has several zones, and the Ocean Express cable car runs between the two largest ones. During the holidays, the ocean park hosts grand events such as Asia’s largest Halloween party and Summer Splash water play actsvities.
Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak, 552 meters high, is the highest point on Hong Kong Island and the best place to view the city’s panorama. The tram line, built in the nineteenth century, takes tourists to the top of the peak in 8 minutes, from where several observation platforms offer stunning views of Hong Kong’s skyscrapers. If the weather permits, you can see how the sun’s rays sparkle in the blue surface of the water “avenues” of the island city.
In the evening, the fantastic night view with a sea of lights is especially impressive. At the top of the peak there are several restaurants, shops, a wax museum, a small park and a three-kilometer walking path for an all-round view.
Alley of Stars
The Avenue of Stars, a pedestrian zone on the embankment along Victoria Bay, stretching 440 meters, competes for the right to open the best views of Hong Kong with Victoria Peak. The alley was created based on the Hollywood one in 2004. Convex stars on the asphalt with handprints of favorite actors and filmmakers often have to be updated with bright paint – there are so many people who want to touch their idols. And although most of the names, with the exception of Bruce Lee, Wong Kar-wai and Jackie Chan, are little known to Western audiences, one can imagine how close they are to the hearts of the city residents – after all, the Hong Kong film industry ranks honorably third in the world after the USA and India.
Hong Kong Museum of Art
The purpose of creating the museum in 1962 was to preserve Chinese culture and support local artists. More than 16 thousand objects are presented here, including works of painting, sculpture and calligraphy by Chinese and Hong Kong artists, and objects of historical significance. The museum has three floors, so you can spend a whole day visiting it, especially since in addition to the very educational permanent exhibition, exhibitions of foreign artists are regularly held here.
Sha Tin Racecourse
Hong Kong people are very fond of horses, especially if you can bet on a racing horse. The hippodrome is the only opportunity to satisfy your passion, because gambling is banned in the city. There are two large racecourses in Hong Kong, one of which, Sha Tin, can accommodate 85 thousand spectators.
