We decided to find out how much it could cost travelers to rent the fastest and most expensive cars in the world. To do this, we needed to study the offers of rental companies in 100 cities around the world popular among tourists and select the fastest car options. Car power (horsepower) and acceleration time to 100 km/h were taken into account.
The fastest car available for rent was the Lamborghini Aventador with 700 horsepower, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. A car costing from 17 million rubles can be rented in Abu Dhabi for 185,000 rubles per day. In second place is the Ferrari 488 Spider (670 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h in 3 seconds) – this car can be rented in Milan for 191,000 rubles per day. The cost of a Ferrari 488 Spider starts at 17 million rubles. The Porsche 911 Turbo, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and has a power of 540 horsepower, can be rented in Munich for 169,000 rubles. You can buy such a car for at least 12 million rubles.
The most expensive car in the rating costs from 20 million rubles. This is a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (740 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds). You can rent a car in Munich for 165,000 rubles.
However, the highest rental price was for another expensive supercar – the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder (610 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds). You can become the owner of this car for a short time, costing from 19 million rubles, for 218,000 rubles per day.
“The majority of fast luxury cars can be found in rental offices in European cities popular among tourists and businessmen, as well as in the Middle East: Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The set of documents for renting an expensive car is the same as for an ordinary car: you need an international driver’s license, a credit card in the driver’s name, and booking confirmation. Often, many rental companies require an advance payment to confirm a reservation; this procedure is typical for any car model, but in the case of luxury cars, a 100% advance payment may be withheld from the client. In addition, some rental companies may not rent luxury cars to drivers under 25 or 30 years of age. Also, it is important for everyone who rents expensive cars to remember that the rental company will freeze a large amount on the credit card as a deposit,” comments Evgeniy Gaponenko, head of additional services at OneTwoTrip.
